PRESS RELEASE
BSC Multicultural Services (BSCMS), award winning community organisation, recently received a ‘Connecting Communities’ award from Suffolk Cricket. This is in recognition of promoting cricket within minority communities in Suffolk. Members of BSCMS were invited to Essex Cricket Club in Chelmsford where the award was presented to BSCMS by Graham Gooch, former England opener and legendary batsman.
Andrew Blanchard, Senior Manager of Suffolk Cricket, said, ‘I am delighted to offer this award to BSCMS for working closely with Suffolk Cricket over the last few years and proactively promoting cricket in the BME communities in Suffolk, especially in Ipswich. Well done to everyone at BSCMS for their efforts. We look forward to working with them in the future.’
Suffolk Cricket joined BSCMS on Wednesday 15th October at St Margaret’s Church Hall for a group photo at its annual health event.
