This is in recognition of promoting cricket within minority communities in Suffolk. Members of BSCMS were invited to Essex Cricket Club in Chelmsford where the award was presented to BSCMS by Graham Gooch, former England opener and legendary batsman. <\/p>\n<p>Andrew Blanchard, Senior Manager of Suffolk Cricket, said, \u2018I am delighted to offer this award to BSCMS for working closely with Suffolk Cricket over the last few years and proactively promoting cricket in the BME communities in Suffolk, especially in Ipswich. Well done to everyone at BSCMS for their efforts. We look forward to working with them in the future.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Suffolk Cricket joined BSCMS on Wednesday 15th October at St Margaret\u2019s Church Hall for a group photo at its annual health event. More than 100 people attended the event and guests included Cllr Stefan\u00a0Long, Mayor of Ipswich, Cllr Nadia Cenci, Cabinet Member for Communities at Suffolk County Council, Andrea Pittock from Rope Trust, Ezra Hewing from Suffolk Mind, and other notable community leaders and organisations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Boshor Ali, Chair of BSCMS, said, \u2018I want to thank everyone at BSCMS for their hard work and commitment over the years. This award from Suffolk Cricket is another accolade for our organisation, and I am grateful to Suffolk Cricket for this recognition. Well done and keep up the good work!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Cllr Nadia Cenci added, \u2018BSCMS is a wonderful charity. It does so much good work for our community in Ipswich and I cannot thank them enough. I am delighted to be here today and take part in this event. It is great to see so many people of different backgrounds.
